How does Columbus Audio Conferencing work?
Simply tell your conference call participants what they need to know; the time of the call, the dial-in number and PIN provided by Columbus. At the agreed time all dial the number provided by Columbus and enter the PIN when prompted. It’s that simple. If you’ve got the Pro service you can schedule calls and send invites using the web portal.
Do I need to book my conference call?
No, there is no need to book. You can hold a conference call whenever you like.
Is there a limit to how long my conference call last?
No, there is no limit to the duration of a conference call.
Does the dial-in number change?
No, once you have chosen your dial-in number, this will not change and remain in your possession whilst you subscribe to the service.
Can I change my PIN?
Absolutely. We’ll change it for you on the Standard service and you can do this yourself using the Pro service web portal.
What is the maximum number of participants I can have on a call?
The maximum number of participants is 50 as standard. Larger numbers of participants can be accommodated by advanced request.
